Last Sunday morning, I woke up early to join my mum and friends to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve π
It was located in a pretty remote area in Singapore and you can see Malaysia across the sea! It was a really short trip over here because everyone seems to be in a rush? I was pretty sad that I didn’t manage to stay longer to look at the really scenic view of the waters.
The skies were really blue and clear that morning!! I’m totally in love with that blue sky that day.
Here’s me, the blue sky and sea π
On Tuesday, I had a date with Jace again. This time we finally had our long awaited K-singing session at Sembawang Teo Heng.
But first we had our Lunch at Astons. We waited super long for our food to come and had to be late for our appointment for our K-singing π¦
The root beer float however, was efficiently served though and it tastes yummy π
My Chargrill chicken! Even though the food took long to arrive, Astons seems to have improved the standard and quality of their food. The chicken was thick and tender π
So we had 3 hours of singing and it was definitely not enough. We had a few list of songs yet to be sung π¦
We decided to head to MooTime and RoyceMary Cafe, both opposite Sembawang Shopping Centre to do up our blogshop items and stuff. Heard that MooTime serve really delicious Durian Cheesecakes and we wanted to get heart shaped macaroons from the RoyceMary Cafe.
And before that, we spotted a nice and empty park so here’s a few ootd shots!
Me asking what do I pose? haha π
To our disappointment, RoyceMary was closed even though they said they will be opened at 4pm after their private event?
So we settled with MooTime and to our disappointment yet again, there was no Durian Cheesecake available?? What a disappointing day.. We simply got 2 scoops of ice cream and started on our work. A pity there was no wifi available too. The ice cream wasn’t really fantastic either and you can find better ice cream elsewhere.
However, MooTime was quiet and empty so we enjoyed our time there resting on the sofa with cushions. And before we left, we were on selfie mode! Haha, pardon us please.
We decided to settle for Sembawang’s BaiMiFen(White Beehoon) for dinner which is located right behind the shophouses. Fyi, their BaiMiFen is really really famous so we were pretty excited to check out what’s the hype about π
Here’s what we ordered.
BaiMiFen, Sambal Kangkong and some Indo crispy wings
As expected, the BaiMiFen tasted really awesome!! We’re definitely heading back for more π π However, I would suggest you not to order crispy wings because the chicken skin still had chicken hair stucked on it? We were feeling disgusted so we simply closed one eye to finish it. We ordered it because we saw many people ordering it so yeah..
